About your therapist

Hi, my name is Cecile and I'm The founder of Bodywave Health and Beauty. 

 

I'm an independent multidisciplinary therapist and I'm happy to share my story.

 

With a background in Beauty Therapy, I established my home business "Zenitude Massage" in Adelaide in 2015, offering therapeutic and sports massage.

 

In 2017, I suffered a spinal injury, leaving me almost incapable of movement from the neck down to my left arm due to two herniated cervical discs. After trying pain medications and considering surgery, I turned to Cold Laser therapy. Within six weeks of regular treatments and physical therapy, the pain subsided, and my mobility improved. Impressed by the results, In 2019 I invested in the technology and incorporated Cold Laser therapy into my practice.

 

In 2020, I faced emotional challenges with my business closure due to Covid-19 Lockdown and the loss of my husband. Exploring energetic healing and Bach Flower therapy helped me overcome stress and grief. This journey led me to understand the connection between emotions and physical symptoms.

 

Drawing from my personal challenges, I continuously researched alternative healing modalities, which now allows me to help others more effectively and holistically. 

 

In 2022, I combined my beauty industry background with Laser therapies and launched Bodywave Health and Beauty, offering a unique place for natural health therapies and laser beauty treatments under one roof!   

 

I am so proud to combine these very advanced laser technologies with more traditional modalities such as Bach flower therapy, Acupoints and massage therapy, which allows me to serve my clients in a wider range of services, using only Nature's gifts: The power of light, flower essences, and lots of healing energy through my hands ;)
